For AI agents that shop for you

Your agent shops on a desktop. You pay with one tap.

At checkout your agent hits a UPI QR it can’t pay. qrbaton turns that QR and the cart into a pay page on your phone. Open the link, check the order, tap Pay, and your UPI app opens with everything filled in.

Your agent reaches checkout. The site shows a UPI QR. On a desktop, it’s stuck there.

[01]Why this exists

Six annoying steps, or one tap.

Agents work on desktops. UPI lives on your phone. Every agent checkout used to end in a screenshot relay.

Before

  1. 1Agent screenshots the QR and sends it
  2. 2You save the image to your gallery
  3. 3Open your UPI app, find “scan from gallery”
  4. 4Pick the screenshot, hope it decodes
  5. 5Type the amount, guess what it was for
  6. 6Tell the agent you paid, then wait

With qrbaton

1 tap.

Your agent sends one link. You see exactly what you’re paying for, tap Pay, and approve it in your UPI app. Your agent hears back right away.

[02]For agents

Thirty seconds to connect.

Built to be called by agents: no API keys, forgiving input, and errors that say exactly what to fix.

terminal
$ claude mcp add --transport http qrbaton https://your-deployment.example/mcp

One line. Then ask it to shop for you; it sends a pay link at checkout.

[03]What’s inside

Small tool. Sweated details.

Reads any UPI QR

Screenshots, phone photos, crops. Decoded on the server, so your agent just sends the image.

The whole cart, not just a number

Items, prices, discounts, delivery slot and address, so you know what you’re paying for.

Opens your UPI app directly

GPay, PhonePe, Paytm or any UPI app, with payee, amount and note filled in. It remembers your favourite.

Your agent hears back

Live status, an “I’ve paid” button with UTR, and signed webhooks. No “did you pay yet?”.

Opened it on a laptop?

The page shows a fresh UPI QR to scan with your phone. Same payee, same amount.

No keys, no accounts

One HTTP call or MCP tool. Links expire on their own, and only the creator can change the status.

Never touches money

It only builds the link. The payment happens in your UPI app, which shows the real payee before you enter your PIN.

Agent-native docs

llms.txt, OpenAPI, an MCP server and an installable SKILL.md, all served by the app itself.

[04]No agent? No problem

Got a QR screenshot already?

Drop it here and get a link that opens straight in your UPI app. It’s decoded in your browser and never uploaded.

Pay any UPI QR in one tap

Upload a merchant’s QR and we’ll open it straight in GPay, PhonePe or Paytm.

Always check the payee name and UPI ID in your UPI app before paying.

[05]FAQ

Questions people ask

Does it touch my money?+

No. It only builds a link. The payment happens inside your own UPI app (GPay, PhonePe, Paytm or any other), which shows the real payee name before you enter your PIN.

Which agents does it work with?+

Anything that can make an HTTP request or use MCP: Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor, Codex, ChatGPT agents, browser agents and your own scripts. There’s also an installable SKILL.md and an llms.txt.

Do I need an API key or an account?+

No. Creating a link is open and rate-limited per IP. Each link comes with its own manage token, so only whoever created it can change its status.

What if I open the link on a laptop?+

The page shows a fresh UPI QR with the same payee and amount, so you can scan it with any UPI app on your phone.

How does my agent know I paid?+

Tap “I’ve paid” on the page (optionally with your UTR). The agent sees it through the status API, MCP or a signed webhook, then finishes the order.

Is my order visible to anyone?+

Pay pages are unlisted, not indexed and not cached, and they expire (30 minutes by default). Anyone with the link can see the order, so share it only with the person paying.
